With the introduction of the ‘Auburn Series’, the demand for Contour Windows has resulted in further expansion as we opened our 2nd production line at the Auburn Hills, MI plant. While other window manufacturers are reducing production during the pandemic, this expansion has allowed Contour Windows to continue production and meet necessary deadlines for builders across the nation.

The Beginning of Vinyl Tech
January 1, 1992
VT Window Systems Inc. began manufacturing premium single-hung, sliding windows, and patio doors.
Product Line Expansion
August 2, 1994
VT Window Systems Inc. added two color options to their product line as well as expanded their client base across the United States.
New Location in Durand, MI
September 16, 2013
A relocation to Durand, MI allowed VT Windows to expand distribution to 17 states. They now offered Energy Star Ratings in all climates.
March 1, 2019
VT Tech became Contour Windows, Inc. and expanded into a new 80,000 ft.2 plant in Auburn Hills, MI. Contour Windows, Inc. expanded their product line and developed an in-house, custom paint booth.
Contour Windows, Inc. will open a 175,000 ft.2 manufacturing facility in South Carolina with multiple production lines.
